Why choose me?

  • Using a mobile service that comes to your home allows you to be in control of your environment (you can make your room as warm or cool as you like, light some candles or put some relaxing music on if you wish, etc.), and after your treatment you can just enjoy feeling good and relaxed without having to think about the stresses of driving home or having to go outside in bad weather.
  • As I am already in my early sixties, older people might feel more comfortable with a massage therapist closer to their age who also understands their needs better.
  • If your are seeking massage to relieve the stresses of menopause, you are in good hands. Having been through menopause myself - which has been quite a bumpy ride for me - you can be sure to feel understood. I do not offer any special menopause massage but I am a firm believer that reducing stress and taking care of yourself is the most important thing you can do in this phase of life and a good relaxing massage can help with that.
  • I do not believe that applying more pressure during a massage is always better. Too much pressure can lead to muscles tensing up, in particular if it causes too much discomfort or even pain. This reduces the effectiveness of the treatment and can even have adverse outcomes. My massages are therefore more on the gentler side but still firm enough to be beneficial. I will always check with you during a treatment that you are comfortable with what I am doing to make sure you leave my massage table feeling great and not pained.
  • Some people like to chat during their treatment and others just want to quietly relax and not say very much. Whatever makes you feel more comfortable is fine by me.
